Grant project supported by European program Horizon Europe

In Dnipro State Medical University launched a grant project supported by European program Horizon Europe. The project title is “ Personalized CANcer Primary Prevention research through Citizen Participation and digitally enabled social innovation” (4P-CAN). The project includes 16 partners from European countries, the main coordinator of the project is The Centre for Innovation in Medicine (INOMED), Bucharest, Romania. Dnipro State Medical University will be represented by the Department of Social Medicine, Public Health and Health Management and the International Department.

The estimated project duration is 4 years during which Dnipro State Medical University will aim to assess the policy and legislation in Ukraine that regulate primary cancer prevention, environmental pollution, tobacco control, alcohol consumption control, body weight and physical activity control and also the regulation of HBV and HPV vaccination. In the framework of the project the work with literature sources, surveys of different populations and studying of the environmental pollution are planned.

4P-CAN is the one of the first projects from Horizon Europe program that Dnipro State Medical University takes part in.
