The purpose of the SRW is to substantiate the strategic directions of preserving and restoring the population's health based on the analysis and determination of ways to optimize the leading determinants that affect the effectiveness of the healthcare system and the productivity of intersectoral cooperation.

Research object: health care system, public health system, determinants of population health.

The subject of the study: population health indicators and its needs for preventive and medical services, health care functions, public health functions, preventive and organizational measures.

The information base of the NDR is planned to be formed from the materials of official statistics on the state of the population's health, data on the determinants of the impact on the state of the population's health, information on the use of health care resources, and materials of own sample studies.

SRW methods: systematic approach and analysis; bibliosemantic and historical; epidemiological; medical and statistical; expert evaluations; sociological method; socio-psychological; conceptual modelling; economic analysis; organizational experiment.

Expected results. It is expected that the planned research will make it possible to substantiate the strategic directions of preserving and restoring population health due to the impact on the leading socio-economic determinants, factors of the effectiveness of the health care system, public health initiatives, which will contribute to increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the industry and intersectoral cooperation.
